At Fondoliva, tasting is a ritual that celebrates the soul of Scicli. We have designed four journeys to lead you through the authentic essence of our farm and the excellence of local producers, following the natural light of the day.

Mediterranean breakfast

A proposal that balances wellness and pleasure, allowing you to start your day surrounded by the gentle sounds of the Sicilian countryside. 

  • Healthy & Delicious: Our homemade granola with dried fruits, creamy yogurt, and fresh fruit hand-picked from the Fondoliva garden.

  • Artisan Tradition: Our signature home-made jams and a selection of local or traditional cakes from the Hyblaean region.

  • Morning Ritual: Coffee, cappuccino, and a selection of fragrant teas and herbal infusions.

  • Summer Specialty: During the warmest months, your awakening is refreshed by our traditional artisan granita.

Farmer's Breakfast: A Hyblaean Brunch

A return to our roots, when the morning tasted of the earth. Inspired by the savory breakfast of Sciclitano farmers who spent their days in the fields, this proposal bridges historical memory with contemporary quality.

  • The Field Ritual: We rediscover the gestures of the past through products designed to nourish: fresh bread seasoned with our Organic EVOO, hard-boiled eggs, farm-grown olives, and traditional sun-dried tomatoes.

  • Hyblaean Selection: A careful curation of local cheeses and products from trusted farms in our territory.

  • A Modern Interpretation: The simplicity of the past is elevated by the freshness of our farm’s raw materials.

Sicily by Bites

this is an interactive and convivial ritual.

"It is almost impossible to watch a sunset without dreaming" (B. Williams). 

  • Table Interactivity: Create your own bruschetta using ancient grain bread, our Organic EVOO, flavored salts, and aromatic herbs from the farm.

  • Family Recipes: Enjoy "Nonna Giovanna’s Salad," our semi-sundried tomatoes prepared according to a family recipe, and the "Columbus Egg" with scented salts.

  • Local Flavors: Traditional local dried sausages and Hyblaean cheeses paired with our artisanal jams.

  • A Sweet Memory: Our "Once Upon a Time" cheesecake, featuring fresh ricotta mousse and local biscuit crumble.

A total immersion in well-being and dreams. This is our most comprehensive journey, where the countryside takes the form of an "Agri-snack": creations made with freshly harvested products transformed in our kitchens.

    Comu Ta’ Pass (Sicilian Bites): A journey through authentic flavors including artisanal dried sausage and local cheeses paired with our fruit compotes.

    From the Ancient Ovens: A curated selection of traditional "Scacce" (Ragusan filled focaccias), a cornerstone of local baking.

    From the Kitchen & Garden: The warmth of traditional Sicilian baked pasta served alongside a cold "Casaruciaru" bean salad and seasonal garden vegetables.

    Family Secrets: The highlight remains the semi-sundried tomatoes from "Mamma Giovanna’s Salad" and the interactivity of seasoning your own bruschetta with our salts and EVOO.

    The Dessert of Memory: We conclude with our "Once Upon a Time" cheesecake: fresh ricotta mousse enriched with fruit compote and typical biscuit crumble.
